What our content is, and is not
Everything published here is editorial opinion informed by hands-on testing. Scores are our assessment against published criteria, not a statement of objective fact, and reasonable people can weigh those criteria differently.
Prices, features and policies in this category change frequently. We re-verify regularly, but the platform's own site is always the authority on what it currently charges and offers. Check before you pay.

Third-party platforms
We do not operate, own or control any of the platforms we review. Your relationship with a platform — the contract, the billing, the content, the support — is entirely between you and that operator.
Disputes about charges, cancellations or content must be taken up with the platform directly. We will happily record your experience as evidence in a future score, but we cannot intervene in your account.
Affiliate relationships
We earn commission on subscriptions purchased through some of our links. This never affects your price, and it never affects a ranking position. How we are funded is explained on our about page, and the mechanism that keeps it out of the ranking is described in our methodology.
Acceptable use
You may read, quote and link to this site freely. Quoting a passage with attribution and a link is welcome.
Republishing pages wholesale, scraping the site to build a competing database, or presenting our scores as your own is not permitted.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of it or from your dealings with any platform we review, including charges you did not expect.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the current version always applies. Where local consumer law gives you stronger rights than these terms, that law prevails.
